The RCSWA and the Davis & Elkins College Center for Sustainability Studies, GreenWorks!, are partnering to help residents clear out unwanted electronic items with a special Electronics Recycling event on Saturday, April 14th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or until the trailer is full), at the Elkins Wal-Mart.

Acceptable materials include TVs, laptop and desktop computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, copiers, fax machines, scanners, power cords, mice, cables, DVD players, VCRs, cell phones, telephones, microwaves, CD players, video game systems, plug and play devices, calculators, circuit boards, any type of wire, cord and cable, power backups, digital cameras and video recorders, and similar electronic devices or portions of devices.

NO white goods can be accepted, such as refrigerators, freezers, washers, and dryers.
