As promised, Randolph County Solid Waste Authority is facilitating several new recycling campaigns this month at Good Energy Foods. In addition to the previously introduced TerraCycle programs through Tom’s of Maine and Garnier, we are pleased to announce additional partnerships with CLIF, SOLO and Gillette. This means citizens can recycle rigid #6 cups, all brands of foil lined energy bar wrappers, and disposal razors, blade refills, and corresponding packaging. These programs are free and easy to utilize. Simply drop off your items at our prepared collection bins located in the back of Good Energy Foods in downtown Elkins during the store’s business hours. RCSWA will then package and ship the recyclables to TerraCycle, an international company specializing in innovative solutions for managing difficult to solve waste streams. TerraCycle will then process and recycle these oddities, turning them into new and useful creations like park benches!

Being selected to participate in Gillette’s national pilot program for razor recycling is an exciting opportunity which RCSWA is proud to offer Randolph County. We are so thankful to Good Energy Foods for hosting our collection bins, and invite YOU to make a positive difference with us. Please support RCSWA and Good Energy as we expand our programs to protect and serve Mother Earth!
